This is the heart of Italian culture, and it is our pleasure to invite you to dine with the Bel & Brio family this August as we explore the Italian way of life. You will surely find yourself in “La Bella Vita”, through authentic Italian cooking styles and flavours, express from regional Italy. On the agenda for the month, we are taking your palate for a tour across four different regions of Italy; namely, Lombardy, Tuscany, Lazio, and Sicily. Most of our chefs have roots in these regions, and they are excited to introduce you to the flavours of their heritage, brought to you with true sentiment, and lots of love!
A Taste of Sicily- 28th and 29th of August
Blessed with a climate warm enough to provide a profusion of simple, fresh, and tasty ingredients, Sicily is a land with a strong food culture. Vineyards, orange and lemon groves, almond trees, and olive farms can be found in almost every corner of the island.
Traditionally, Sicilian food preserves the freshness and seasonality of the ingredients. The key to any delicious Sicilian dish is simplicity. Simplicity, today more than ever, is true luxury. Simplicity means unrefined ingredients, so genuine and tasty that they preserve and celebrate the flavour of the land where they were grown.
